Snöoväder är härligt - när man är inomhus. Sänder en tanke till de som gav sig ut idag för att demonstrera för yttrandefrihet efter terrorattacken mot tidningen Charlie Hebdo. Själv mejlade jag till saudiska ambassaden häromdagen, efter att Amnesty uppmärksammat att bloggaren Raif Badawi dömts till spöstraff: "Dear Mr Ambassador, Could I plead with the officials of the Saudi Arabian nation to please respect the freedom of speech for all men, women and children of the world, as stated in Article 19 of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights: "E veryone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers: http://www.un.org/en/ documents/udhr/ Mr Raif Badawi should not be punished for acting in accordance with this universal human right."
